Precautions
Tadalafil should only be taken if and when you plan to indulge in sexual activity and is not designed for permanent prolonged usage. The drug should only be taken only by males over 18 years of age who are suffering from erectile dysfunction problems. The drug can be ingested both on an empty stomach or after a meal however fatty foods may affect the onset time. You should not take this medicine in combination with alcohol, doing so will increase the risk of negative side effects like nausea and dizziness. This medicine is not recommended for those with heart problems or history of strokes. Tadalafil should never be used in combination with Tadalafil as severe side effects or reactions may occur. This includes nitrates in any form (isosorbide, nitroglycerin, etc) or the use of the recreational drug known as 'poppers' (amyl nitrate, butyl nitrate) in any form (inhalation, capsules, etc.)

Generally, men who are taking any of the following should be particularly careful when beginning to try Tadalafil or similar medicines in the erectile dysfunction range and consultation with your Physician or local Doctor is highly recommended.

While taking this medicine, what are the signs of negative side effects?
While generally quite rare, all medicines come with the risk of possible side effects. The Tadalafil range of medicines come with some of the same risks as those within the Generic Viagra (Sildenafil) family. These commonly include headache, muscle ache, back pain or congested sinuses. Almost all of these symptoms disappear within 48 hours of stopping the medicine. Like Sildenafil, you should be aware of any changes to your vision. If you have a loss of sight in either or both eyes, you must immediately cease usage of the medicine and contact your local Doctor or an emergency room. Prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours should be treated as serious as long term health problems may arise if left untreated.
You should contact to your doctor or physician as soon as possible if you notice any of the following:
  • allergic reactions like a rash, excessive itching, hives, a swelling of the face, lips or tongue
  • breathing or respiratory problems
  • alteration in hearing
  • chest, heart or arm aches or pains
  • irregular, rapid or skipped heartbeat
Side effects that usually subside with the medicines effects (however, contact a professional if they do not) :

  • flushing or redness of the skin
  • sinus problems
  • nausea and dizziness
  • headache or migraine
